Die Bestuurder & Personeel, Witfield Park
Ons wil graag ons innige dank betuig teenoor almal wat betrokke was by die uitstekende versorging van ons ma en ouma, Mev. Joan Conradie.
Weereens baie dankie.
Esme Enslin & Familie.

Hi Lorna and Marlene
Re: Theresa van Zyl
Just want to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for looking after Mom for the past 5 years. It was really a comfort for us to know she was well cared for. Please convey our thanks to the staff nurses, Annette in particular, and the caregivers.
(This resident passed away on 10th April).

Dear Marlene
My daughter, Meryl, reminded me today that this is my first birthday as an Outspan resident. This year has gone so quickly and I have improved so much – have gained 8 kg and now know who I am and am learning the house rules.
I really love all those who look after each one of us. The nursing staff is so good and show us they care for us, and I pray that they know that God loves them. The cleaning staff is so kind and when I hear them singing a hymn I have to give them a hug. Its harder to show the men who work and help us but a smile seems to work as well.
The manager and her office staff are so good with all the problems and you, Marlene, are always prepared to help us and guide us. Maybe we should be given a list of what we can do with things we can’t do – even if we want to help.
Abel is also trying to keep us all busy and is always ready to help us in many ways and he is always full of smiles and laughter and knows how to deal with old grannies and grandpas. I am so grateful that Graham and I have enough money to live here and praise God for all we have.
Yours sincerely,
Joy Watkins

A letter from Mrs Cork (Room B3-73) Panorama Palms
Dear Maryke ,
I would like to thank you for the joy with which you gave my husband Panorama's gift of fruit, etc, for the joy it gave us unpacking the quality fruit, the super orange juice and not forgetting the final touch of cream cheese. It made us feel like royalty and we shall always remember this special gift from Panorama Palms for his 90th birthday.
God bless you as you serve Him in this way.
Love and regards to all.
‘n Brief van mnr Van der Westhuizen (Huis F7) Panorama Palms
Geagte mev Buys,
Ek sal bly wees as u my opregte dank en waardering hiervoor aan me Pokpas sal oordra.

Vriendelike groete
Billie Heiberg.

A letter from Cecil Vertue, resident at Acacia Park
Dear Mrs Meyer,
Just a note of appreciation. Yesterday evening I was grabbed by my sore arm by Hans and dragged to villa 19 where Hans could hear a dog whimpering. We could not get any other response. Hans and myself felt that there was enough reason to press my panic button.
Having pressed the button we realized that any response would be to my villa, so I went to the clinic and explained. By the time I got to the front door, a response vehicle had arrived.
By the time I got back to my villa, the clinic team was on the job and with help from Hans had control of the dog. Soon after that the ambulance arrived. I felt that this was a job well done and deserves our appreciation.

Die Bestuurder, Personeel en Inwoners van Acacia park
Dankie is so ‘n klein woordjie, maar daar is soveel opregte waardering daarin.
